Based in London, Dan’s journey began as a journalist and evolved into a career focused on management and marketing, working alongside some of the world’s most respected artists, labels, and platforms.
During his tenure at TikTok UK/EU, Dan played a key role in building marketing strategies, teams, and services for both major and independent labels, while also leading the development and launch of TikTok’s SoundOn distribution platform across multiple markets.
Prior to that, he founded the Unapologetic Group, a marketing and label services agency, where he collaborated with artists such as Zara Larsson, T-Pain, and R3HAB, as well as industry partners including Warner Music Group and YM&U. Earlier in his career, he worked with Avicii, Axwell Ingrosso, and Wyclef Jean as Head of Marketing & Publicity at Stockholm-based At Night Management.
Now leading Carter Projects and his artist development venture, World Go Round, Dan is committed to empowering artists and businesses to succeed in an evolving digital landscape. With a focus on education, innovation, and practical solutions, he aims to simplify industry challenges and help create sustainable opportunities for artists and organisations across the music ecosystem.
